Over the last years, the Brussels-Capital Region has positioned itself as the absolute leader when it comes to building of digital products, with a mix of startups, scaleups and established companies active in the field.
The industrial tissue in Brussels has a specific and delineated digital profile. So it is not surprising that the demand-driven innovations of Brussels-based businesses are digital.
Since 2004, Sirris has launched - with the support of Innoviris - an initiative called Strategic and technological innovation guidance. Through this initiative Sirris supports the Brussels industry with its digital innovations.
The initiative responds to the needs of local industry to gain greater access to practical and advanced knowledge on software engineering, artificial intelligence and new emerging digital technologies. The initiative began operations in 2004. Over the years, the services have been continuously adapted to the needs of the local industry. This has resulted in a unique offering in Belgium.
