Energy Storage bij zonsondergang
Info session

How can you make industrial heating more sustainable and flexible?

At the DETHERMIK kick-off event, discover how innovative technologies and real-world industrial case studies contribute to sustainable heating processes.

Towards sustainable and flexible industrial heat

Decarbonising industrial heat processes is a major challenge for industry. How can companies reduce their CO₂ emissions, use energy more efficiently, and remain competitive?

During this kick-off event, Sirris, VOM and Flux50 will launch the DETHERMIK project. It will explore how innovative technologies such as thermal energy storage and high-temperature heat pumps can contribute to low-carbon and more flexible industrial heat processes.

Learn about the project's ambitions, explore practical examples, and connect with companies across the industrial value chain.

For whom?

This event is aimed at companies and professionals involved in industrial heat processes and the energy transition:

  • Industrial companies looking to decarbonise their heat processes
  • Machine builders, system integrators, and technology providers
  • Energy, production, and technical managers
  • Engineers, consultants, and industrial energy experts
  • Research institutions and organisations active in the energy transition

Key takeaways

During this kick-off event, discover how the DETHERMIK project aims to support companies in their transition towards sustainable industrial heat.

  • Innovative heat solutions: explore the potential of thermal energy storage (TES) and high-temperature heat pumps (HTHP).
  • Industrial applications: real-world cases and experiences of companies investing in sustainable heat solutions.
  • Project objectives: discover the planned demonstrations, practical tools, and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Collaboration: meet companies, technology providers, and experts from across the value chain

Programme

14:00–16:00 - Official kick-off

During this afternoon session, you will be introduced to the DETHERMIK project, its consortium, and its main objectives. Industry testimonials and practical case studies will illustrate how innovative technologies can contribute to more sustainable and flexible industrial heat processes. The event will conclude with a networking session, offering an opportunity to exchange experiences with companies, technology providers, and project partners.
