Senior Engineer Smart and Digital Factory
Wondering what you could gain from Industry 4.0 and how to get started? I make it my mission to find the answers with you. Discover, for example, new technologies for digital work instructions, as well as remote support technologies to connect your machines and gather data. With that data, you open to the door to new business opportunities.
Some of the most recent projects I was involved in: Factory 4.0, Boosting Human Capital 21, Operator 4.0 and Cyber Security 4.0.
- IIoT – connecting (legacy) machines/production
- Operator support (digital work instructions classic and advanced (AR, VR))
- OT cyber security
In my career, I worked in various highly-specialized fields: developing and manufacturing large-format industrial printers (at Mutoh Europe), developing charging poles for electrical cars (at BeCharged), and developing middleware to control robots from different brands (at Zorabots). Since 2019, I use that experience to contribute to the Smart and Digital Manufacturing department at Sirris.
- Electronical engineering at KHBO Ostend (1992)

When I’m not learning new things from YouTube, I like to walk, read and listen to podcasts.
