The 3DOP project is looking for innovative companies, join the open call

Free trials for SMEs working on 3D printing innovation

Do you have an idea that could benefit from additive manufacturing? The European 3DOP project invites SMEs to apply for free support. Selected companies will get access to advanced labs, expert guidance and funding advice, all tailored to help bring innovation to the market.
 

What is the 3DOP Open Call?

3DOP, short for Optimisation of Production by 3D Printing, helps companies adopt cutting-edge 3D printing technologies. The open call offers:

• Testing and piloting in high-tech labs
• Collaboration with technology providers
• Individual coaching and mentoring
• Support to identify funding opportunities

All services are free for selected participants.
 

Three tracks to choose from

The call runs until 8 September 2025. SMEs can apply in one of three tracks:

• Track 1: Co-develop with solution providers
  Move your solution from TRL 6 or 7 to TRL 9, supported by technical and business services.
• Track 2: Demonstrate or pilot your idea
  Access 3DOP facilities to test your concept in a real-life setting, with non-technical support included.
• Track 3: Strategic coaching and advice
  Get help with market readiness, investment strategies and long-term business development.

Applicants must be SMEs based in the EU, EEA or associated countries. Projects should start at TRL 6 or 7 and aim for TRL 9.
