Philippe started working for Sirris as a research technician, later as an well-rounded employee at the Ghent site. Thereupon, he joined the ICS team, which is responsible for all the internal ICT services at Sirris. Since 2007, Philippe has been a member of the Sirris Communication Team. Within the team he is in charge of the planning and practical organisation of all events, ranging from small workshops to large-scale happenings, such as the inauguration of application labs or all-day seminars with an international level.
Philippe started his career in 1988 as a technician in the field of composites research at Ghent University. In 1993, he switched to Sirris, doing the same job.
