Workshop
From CNC data to predictive insights
How can you extract value from CNC data? Discover when data alone is sufficient and when sensors and AI are needed. Gain concrete insights and practical use cases for your machining process.
From data to insight in machining
Do you want to better understand your machining processes? During this workshop, you will discover how to use existing CNC data for monitoring, diagnostics and predictive applications. You start from your process-related questions and learn which data you need. Through practical examples, we show how small variations can have a major impact on quality and productivity, and how to make them visible and actionable.
For whom?
- Production and process engineers
- CNC programmers and operators
- Technical managers and responsible engineers
- Innovation and digitalisation managers
Key takeaways
- What data is available in CNC machines
- When this data is sufficient and when additional measurements are needed
- How to translate data into monitoring, diagnostics and prediction
- How domain expertise and AI reinforce each other
- Concrete applications such as tool wear estimation and chatter detection
Programme
The workshop combines insights, demonstrations and real-world examples, and helps you map out a realistic growth path: from basic monitoring to (potentially) predictive applications.
This workshop is being organised as part of the COOCK+ 4.0 Maturity Acceleration project, with the support of Vlaio.
