Jamal Akessour
As a process technician specialising in plastic injection moulding at Sirris, I support companies from test preparation through to fine-tuning the injection moulding process. Drawing on my hands-on experience, I work on machine settings, polymer processing and troubleshooting defects in injection-moulded parts. I enjoy technical challenges that require analysing, testing and adjusting parameters until the right solution is found.

Work experience
After completing my studies, I started my career in the pharmaceutical sector, where I gained my first experience of the demands of an industrial environment. I joined Sirris in 2007 as a process technician. Since then, I have built extensive experience in plastic injection moulding, prototyping and material testing, working with a variety of machines, materials and industrial applications.
