Veerle has been working at Sirris since 2013 and is responsible for managing the memberships and preparing the contribution calculations. She is also the contact person for explaining the contribution calculations and follows-up the outstanding contributions.
Since 2015 Veerle has been responsible for the financial reporting of the subsidy files of the various Agoria Technology Clubs to BIE (Brussels Invest & Export) and AWEX (Agenca Wallonne à l'Exportation et aux Investigations étrangers).
Veerle started her career at Agoria 25 years ago as an assistant to the Sirris general manager. Since 1993 she has helped to start and develop project-driven bookkeeping at Sirris. Within accounting, Veerle had final responsibility for financial affairs of the various Sirris branches and checked the customer and supplier accounts. Since 1997 Veerle has been responsible for the membership administration, for which she carefully keeps up-to-date with changes in the Belgian metals industry and technology industry. Since 2002, Veerle has been maintaining the statutory associations and administering the non-statutory associations.
Veerle holds a bachelor's degree in Communication Management (Public Relations). She is an enthusiastic and persistent worker who likes to both devise and develop concepts.
