Thierry Dormal

In 1990 Thierry Dormal started off the rapid prototyîng activities with Sirris, with one of the first stereolithography machines in Europe. It took many industrial and research projects in Belgium and in Europe before this technology turned into a real industrial revolution, evolving towards additive manufacturing and 3D printing. Today the Additive Manufacturing department with Sirris consists of 16 engineers and technicians, developing processes, materials and new products with no less than 15 different additive manufacturing technologies.

Thierry obtained  a Masters in Engineering at the University of Liège and he started off his career developing 2D and 3D software.
