I am passionate about sustainability and circular economy. For more than 15 years, I have been helping companies and entrepreneurs to identify and realize business opportunities and bring innovative solutions to the market. Both elements come together in my role as program manager Circular Economy, where I help companies to put the circular economy into practice step by step. In this regard, I connect to a broad spectrum of knowledge domains (materials technology, life cycle thinking, (circular) business cases and valorization, value chain collaboration, innovation strategy and funding) and associated network. Setting up and running successful innovation projects with different contributors and stakeholders is one of my special interests. I like to get things done for and with companies.
I obtained a degree in Materials Science and engineering at KU Leuven in 1994 and worked in the Industry for ten years. More specifically, in the fields of nickel alloys and corrosion management. After joining Sirris in 2004, I have been supporting companies in the domain of innovation and sustainability in different positions.
