Since 2019, Peter is part of the EluciDATA Lab by Sirris. As a data scientist he is responsible for new developments in data innovation using several machine learning techniques.
Peter holds a PhD in engineering from Ghent University. During his PhD he developed novel methods for the detection and analysis of epileptiform activity in the electroencephalogram. During his postdoc he worked on occupancy and activity monitoring using a network of distributed smart cameras.
