Since 1 December 2021, I have been working at Sirris and ScalupVlaanderen as a Growth Engineer Consultant. I help founders translate their vision into strategic axes and actionable steps. Founders are often like eagles that continuously look down from above then land, learn from the situation and deal with what they are confronted with there and then. However, anyone who grows a company also needs other sorts of people - people who implement and follow certain patterns and processes - and my strength lies in building the bridge between that vision and the next steps in the right direction. For this, I can call on my expertise in pitching, go-to-market, pricing, building and scaling up an internal structure and internationalisation, mainly at SaaS companies.
After my education as an industrial engineer in electronics and computer science, I gained 20 years of experience in various domains: information security, digital asset management, customs and customer experience. This was done in different types of businesses. For example, I started a security business unit at the telecom company Quentris. I helped the scale-up company ADAM Software to grow internationally, contributed to the expansion of the presales and expert services organisation, analyst briefings,… up to and including the acquisition by Aprimo. At Customs4trade - another scale-up company - I took part in two investment processes, designed and expanded the Sales & Marketing team and took the lead as Chief Revenue Officer.
Recently I was also active at Smartconnect and followed the group coaching trajectory of Scaleup.Vlaanderen.
