Eric is responsible for the Product Development HUB - Light, Micro & Smart Products - programme which helps companies to develop innovative products in these three fields and supports them in the realisation of proofs of concept and demonstrators suitable for large scale manufacturing. As his main challenge, Eric works at picking up the pace on the digital transformation in the development of products and their manufacturing methods.
Eric started his career as a project engineer in the plastic and composite product development department at Sirris over 20 years ago. After several years, he became team leader in this field and then became in charge of the Material Engineering programme. In this role, Eric has built up his expertise in researching technical solutions for businesses, identifying and developing new technologies, in creating an innovative vision for companies and establishing high added value in technological developments.
Eric holds a degree in civil mechanical engineering from UCL (Catholic University of Louvain) and he has a Masters in Business Administration from the Louvain School of Management (UCL).
