Senior Project Engineer at Sirris. For over 20 years, Didier has been involved in numerous industrial and applied research projects. A good number of projects that he has handled to date relate to the design of plastic, metal or composite parts.
To do this, he leverages his significant experience in computer-aided simulation and engineering techniques (including FEA), and applies this to varied fields such as non-linear analysis, dynamic performances, structural stability, optimisation and Thermal Management.
Another significant aspect of his activities relates to finalising methodologies and specific measures relating to knowledge and profiling of so-called "advanced" materials (nanomaterials, elastomers, foams, composites, ballistic protection, etc.).
His skills in managing complex projects within Sirris and with external partners make him one of the central figures within the "Materials Engineering" department.
