SMEs in border regions step closer to Factory 4.0

Interreg Factory 4.0

The Factory 4.0 Interreg project is coming to an end. The balance is drawn up in the latest newsletter and the results are shown, by means of demonstrators and testimonials from companies.

In recent years, Sirris has worked with various partners within the France-Wallonia-Flanders Interreg programme to support SMEs in the border region of Belgium-France in their transformation into 'factories of the future' and thus improve their industrial performance. In the last edition of the project newsletter you will find out the concrete results and initiatives of the project, and what the supported companies were able to achieve.

Attention will also be paid to demonstrators developed within the project, such as the Sirris assembly line, on which the One Two Action Tracker was successfully integrated, and how the CITC increases public awareness of identity fraud.

Finally, three testimonials: the French JAPET developed an exoskeleton that prevents musculoskeletal disorders and makes work less demanding, V&V investigated further process optimisations and EREM improved its effect.

The newsletter can be found here.

The project may well have ended in September 2020, but the project partners will continue to support the companies. Do you have questions about Industry 4.0 and do you want to transform as a company? Then please contact us !
