Software providers increasingly need to focus on the optimisation of their services, including the ability to react to customer preferences. Through its flexible framework and algorithms, the ITEA project Flex4Apps, led by NXP, creates a full loop that allows companies to offer more complex services while advancing the digital transition. For this unique result, the project partners have received the ITEA Award of Excellence during the Online ITEA PO Days 2020, from Vice-chairman Philippe Letellier.
One of the key objectives of Agoria and Sirris is to encourage the technological industry to contribute to a prosperous and sustainable society. Together with other partners, Agoria and Sirris support manufacturing companies to achieve this goal, for example by means of the ‘Factory of the Future’ project.
Additive Manufacturing (AM) has many advantages: custom manufacturing, flexible production and easy customization, for example. Yet many products have a high surface roughness and porosity.
The time has finally come: Flanders Make officially got going yesterday. Which is very good news for the manufacturing industry in our country. Companies in the manufacturing industry now have their own strategic research centre that combines and expands the resources and knowledge of FMTC, Flanders' DRIVE and the laboratories of the five Flemish universities. This initiative can support these companies by way of supporting pre-market surveys in order to reinforce their international competitive position. This is being done at the initiative of Agoria with the support from Sirris.
With renewed motivation and an even better (if possible!) solar vehicle, a new Groep T team will take a shot at first place in the World Solar Challenge in 2011. Once again, they will receive the support of the Belgian business community.
