Setareh is a new member of the Metals team in Ghent. She has obtained a PhD in Electromechanical Engineering from Gent University and a PhD in Science from Antwerp University in ‘magnetostriction in electrical steel’ in 2013. Since then she has been a researcher, first in academia and later in industry. Her main focus has been on magnetic measurements of electrical steel, magnetic finite element computations, noise and vibrations of transformers, modal analysis and frequency analysis. Setareh will also be working on structural integrity, fatigue and fracture mechanics.
