Sirris stands out at RapidPro

Sirris will clearly and visibly be present at RapidPro, which takes place from 7 to 9 March in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, with a stand, participation in presentations and a panel discussion and two entries for the Hall of Fame.

The seventh editon of RapidPro will again join the full AM chain, ranging from quick manufacturing of prototypes and products, to organisations dedicated to product development. Sirris will absolutely be there again

Stijn Lambrechts of the Sirris AM department will start off on 7 March with the 'Workshop Additive Manufacturing for dummies', where the attendees will receive an introduction to additive manufacturing.

On the same day a panel discussion on 'Interactive Forum Certification and Standardisation in Additive Manufacturing' will take place, where Benjamin Denayer of Sirris will share his extensive experience in technology and the industry as one of the experts on this matter

On 9 March Simon Vermeir, design engineer at Sirris, will take care of the presentation 'Topological optimisation as an inspiring design tool'. Based on his broad experience as a designer Simon will speak about the endless possibilities and many restrictions.
Together with Berenschot consultancy agency, Sirris will also talk about the business side of AM (afternoon 7 March).

The two Sirris entries for the Hall of Fame were approved and will be on display in the selection. One is a ‘gooseneck bracket’, the result of a cooperation between ASCO Industries, Sirris and SLM Solutions, and the other one a production tool to make composites developed together with Com&Sens.

Finally, you are very welcome at our stand (no. 44) to meet our specialists and see our expertise in AM. Four new designs will be among the things on display.
