Save the date: Nanotech entrepreneurs trip to Poland - 17-20 Nov 2014

Poland is an economically strong and research intensive country, offering significant potential for nanotech solutions. Nanotechnology entrepreneurs from the NANORA regions(*) are invited to explore the markets and to initiate economic and technological contacts during a 4-day business trip to the economic centres of Warsaw, Poznan and Katowice. The trip is offered by the INTERREG IVB NWE project NANORA together with the Enterprise Europe Network.

The programme includes b2b-talks as well as visits to Polish companies and research institutes and offers the opportunity to network with participants from several European countries.

What is NANORA?

NANORA (Nano Regions Alliance and Enterprise Europe Network) is a unique network of public policy institutions, associations, clusters and research and technology centres  (included Sirris) from seven European regions(*). The Alliance, funded by the European Union through the INTERREG IVB NWE Programme, aims at improving framework conditions and support infrastructures for nanotechnology stakeholders. The project is based on the conviction that the European regions need to engage in concerted action to be successful in the global competition for nano-enabled economic growth. It supports nanotechnology SMEs and research institutions in the participating regions with matchmaking activities based on a unique transnational database of nano players, advice on suitable funding opportunities, and the organisation of joint trade missions to exciting nanotechnology markets.
