New event inspires smart industry of tomorrow

During the new, annual Smart Industry Event on 8 December, all sorts of stakeholders will be coming together to exchange knowledge gained from their experiences and to chart new pathways in this fourth industrial revolution. You can exchange your own experiences with improving production processes and acquire inspiration for planning new business models. Sirris will also be involved.

Industry is currently undergoing the fourth industrial revolution, the digital transition in which ICT is penetrating deeper into all the different parts of the production process. This is resulting in smarter, linked-up machines that communicate with each other not only within the individual companies, but between sectors as well. This leads to smarter products, processes and services that help raise the levels of efficiency, flexibility and quality.

During the new Smart Industry Event taking place on 8 December in Delft in the Netherlands, all sorts of stakeholders will be coming together to exchange knowledge gained from their experiences and to chart new pathways in this fourth industrial revolution. Companies will find the necessary inspiration and tools to 'go smart' thanks to exciting examples and practical experiences, plus exposure to all the national and international developments and trends.
