First AM Integrated Factory Conference

Additive manufacturing brings the manufacture of individualised products within reach. As the technology advances, people are increasingly looking for ways to integrate it into manufacturing processes. That is why the AM Integrated Factory Conference is being held, on 4 December, with Sirris as a content partner in the programme.

Last year, Sirris presented its AM Integrated Factory as the first of its kind. Today the concept and the opportunities it represents are being fully explored by numerous players and organisations.

The conference examines current developments in the further integration of AM into manufacturing processes and how to respond to them. The day is divided into two parts: in the morning the '3D Printing Post-Processing Conference' takes place. This deals with problems, solutions and trends for the future in post-processing of 3D printed documents. The AM Integrated Factory Conference will take place in the afternoon. A key benefit of integrating AM into manufacturing is that it is a digital technology, based entirely on CAD/CAM. This integration requires a transition at both software level and for CAD/CAM/CAE software used for simulation, MES and PLM software tools.

Would you like to know how you can integrate additive manufacturing into your production process? Then come on December 4th to the AM Integrated Factory Conference in Sittard-Geleen in the Netherlands. For more information about this, please go to the website.
