Successful and competitive transition from manual welding to welding robots

   

Automating welding for small series is extremely important to ensure that these activities can be maintained in Flanders and that the shortage of qualified personnel can be compensated for. After all, reduction of the work preparation and welding cycle time (25 to 40%) and increase in quality (40 to 60% less failure rate) ensure that welding companies can respond cost-efficiently to changing market demands and consequently maintain welding activities and tap into new markets.
