Training mission to Japan on World Class Manufacturing

From 12 to 16 September, the EU-Japan Centre is organizing once again an intensive five-day course for European executives having knowledge of World Class Manufacturing. The programme consists of various lectures and a visit to several leading Japanese companies.

The purpose of the trip is to provide the participants with an in-depth analysis of Japanese manufacturing methodology, such as TQM (Total Quality Management), TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and JIT (Just In Time). The current Kaizen manufacturing methods (continuous improvement) will also be dealt with.

Via lectures, workshops and company visits to world’s most advanced Japanese factories, it will be demonstrated how Japanese companies enjoy considerable success largely through their adoption of world class manufacturing principles in production, cost deployment, quality assurance and lean production.

This training mission is aimed at EU executives, managers and decision-makers from all branches of industry. You can find more information about the trip, the terms and conditions, and registration here. Registration for participation is until 12 May.
