Sustainable Lighting promotion day, with a lecture by Sirris expert Thomas Vandenhaute

On 26 March 2015 Groen Licht Vlaanderen and the non-profit organisation Energik will organise the ninth edition of the promotion day ‘Sustainable Lighting: a study day with a technology fair’. This year, the event will combine with the International Year of Light in 2015 under the name 'Sustainable Lighting in Flanders in 2015’.

The ‘International Year of Light 2015’ therefore kicks-off a new era in lighting. Innovative themes, such as LEDs, OLEDs, the optimal use of daylight and additional functionalities, will be discussed during the seminar of this light-themed event, for both indoor and outdoor applications. The program includes a presentation by Sirris expert Thomas Vandenhaute about LED lighting in the circular economy, with examples of concrete plans.

This year numerous companies and organisations will again be actively taking part in the event, most of which also have a stand at the associated technology fair. The stallholders will also be able to provide you with detailed information about products, projects and processes.

This event is open to everyone interested in sustainable lighting - from manufacturers, consultants, clients and contractors to decision makers and end users.

The event will take place in The Sportoase in Leuven, Belgium (the Philips site).
