Sirris to host the CFIB (Club Francophone d'Information Brevet)

This year the Annual Days of the francophone patent information professionals are being organised in Brussels at Sirris.

On 8 & 9 June 2015 in Brussels (in the Diamant Building), Sirris will be hosting the CFIB - Club Francophone d'Information Brevet – for its Annual Days.

The Sirris Patents Cell has been active in the Club for several years and
F. Monfort-Windels is its secretary. The CFIB unites the patent information professionals (mainly working in companies) of Belgium, France, Switzerland and other countries.

8 June is devoted to workshops on topics of interest to the members.

On 9 June, J. Deleu, Sirris Corporate Development director, will start the day with a lecture entitled "Open Innovation and intellectual property, a paradox".

This will be followed by sessions on Innovation and Collaboration, Information Watch and How to Organise its Dissemination, Documentary Research, and Results from the various CFIB Workgroups.

The day includes breaks for networking, etc.

The CFIB Annual Days, which have always been very successful, are reserved for members, but if you are interested in patent information, please apply to the Club.
