Sirris gives two presentations on additive manufacturing at RapidPro 2015

Between 3 and 5 March, RapidPro, the trade fair for additive manufacturing, will celebrate its fifth edition. Leading organisations and speakers will be there to present the latest innovations in the field. Sirris also has its own stand and will give two presentations.

In five years, RapidPro has become the main trade fair for the entire product development chain for the rapid creation of prototypes and products. The latest technologies and possibilities will be on show.

RapidPro Industrial and RapidPro Home Professional will again be separate. At RapidPro Industrial, you can find the most important suppliers and service providers for products, prototypes and everything concerned with additive manufacturing. Sirris also has a stand here, where you will be more than welcome!

In addition to the exhibition, there will be a conference with national and international speakers. Sirris will make two presentations there:

Stijn Lambrechts presents 'Design for AM'

Additive manufacturing is being increasingly used to produce functional parts. The key to success here lies in adapting the design to this technology. A number of concrete industrial cases illustrate four technology and four business drivers for successful additive manufacturing.

Andries Reymer presents 'Integration of Additive Manufacturing (AM) in a classical production processes'

This lecture focuses on the opportunities that arise when 3D printing is integrated into the classical production chain. Printing as an automated step in the production process, printing on existing substrates such as textiles or plastics. We look at AM not as a stand-alone application, but as part of the classic production chain. Where are the opportunities? What are the difficulties?

RapidPro will take place on 3, 4 and 5 March 2015 in the NH Conference Centre Koningshof in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. You can find more information about the trade fair and the conference programme here!
