For some years now nanotechnology has been moving more and more into the field of paints. This development is creating a great deal of new opportunities for various sectors.

In order to develop knowledge and skills and to make new business contacts, NANORA - Nano Regions Alliance - is organising a free seminar on nanocoatings on 15 January 2015 in Liège.

Poland is an economically strong and research intensive country, offering significant potential for nanotech solutions. Nanotechnology stakeholders are invited to explore the markets and to initiate economic and technological contacts during a 4-day business trip to the economic centres of Warsaw, Poznan and Katowice.

In order to improve or to add new properties to an object, we can easily use wet chemical coatings. Starting from liquid precursors that are reacting with each other, it is possible to produce multiple functions in one coating. The obtained materials are so called organic-inorganic hybrid composites.
