Kunststoffen 2017 in line with current trends

With the topic 'rethink, recycle, re-use & renew’ the trade fair Kunststoffen 2017, which will take place in Veldhoven, the Netherlands on 27 and 28 September, proves that it is completely up-to-date with the main trends in society, as well as in the industry. Sirris, which has been on top of this trend since the start, will be present with a stand and give a presentation.

Most of the new or renovated products contain plastics. This is so because of the many advantages ranging from a lower weight, the possibility of flexible design, thin walls to life span extending properties ... Innovation is not unusual in this industry and will extensively be dealt with at the trade fair Kunststoffen. This 2017 edition will bring the whole chain together and present solutions in terms of sustainability, recycling, cost saving, optimisation of production processes, product development and smart industry.  Both on the fair floor and during the conference new, smart (bio-based) materials can be explored.

Sirris will definitely be present at the fair because of its broad expertise related to the topic of this year’s edition. We will be there with a stand (number 189). Join us and discover everything about our support in the development, production and post-treatment of plastic products.

Conference

Like previous years  a two-day conference will take place simultaneously. Divided over four rooms no less than 60 speakers share the latest insights, tips and tricks with you and talk about specific cases. On 28 September Sirris expert Thomas Vandenhaute will give a lecture about 'Circular economy and plastics: how to make it work for you?', in which he will explain in more detail, based on e.g. the 'Roadmap on the Strategy for Plastics in a Circular Economy' published by the European Commission early this year, what the transition to a circular economy actually entails. You can expect to receive many concrete tips and practical examples.
