Discover the state of art in AM at Prototyping

Prototyping has become a quite well-known professional event among the people working in product development, prototyping and small-scale production. Another quite extensive programme will be presented on 8 and 9 November by the organiser Kortrijk Xpo, in cooperation with Howest - Industrial Design Center. Sirris will also participate with two presentations.

Prototyping is a networking platform for all people involved in the prototyping industry, both in the creative and manufacturing segment. Supported by companies and research centres, which present technologies, materials, tools & technologies for the materialisation of product concepts, the entire design process will be discussed on the fair floor: from idea to the making of the actual product in small series and the business model.

The fair also presents an extensive peripheral programme including a materials exhibition, a discussion about standardisation within AM and seminars with lots of inspiring presentations, which mainly focus on all steps of a design process. On both days Sirris will give a presentation: on 8 November Senior Business Developer Additive Manufacturing Benjamin Denayer will give you a 'Sneak preview in an AM integrated factory', where we explain our pilot installation of an AM integrated factory.

On 9 November Design Engineer Additive Manufacturing Simon Vermeir will present 'From design for AM to engineering for AM'.

More information about this event in Kortrijk Xpo is available on the website. Admission is free for professionals subject to online pre-registration.
