'ConstructionSiteVision' closing event for testing ground

After three years, the 'ConstructionSiteVision' testing ground is coming to an end. To mark the occasion, the project partners are holding a closing event for this project.

With the 'ConstructionSiteVision' testing ground, the BBRI, Howest and Sirris - through the application lab for Smart and Digital Factory - put technology providers, construction companies and other construction partners in touch, in order to enhance each other and to accelerate developments relating to XR technology for the construction sector. This focuses on three technologies: VR, AR & MR (mixed reality). The purpose of the testing ground is to create specific XR demonstrators.

During the closing event, we will be looking back to the project’s activities and outcomes. A number of use cases of virtual and augmented reality in the construction sector - both within and outside the testing-ground project - will furthermore be presented.
